Welcome to Yuan. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Yuan platform — the website, the AI Builder, applications created on the platform, and related services (together, the "Service") — provided by the operator of Yuan ("we", "us").
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Yuan is an AI-native application platform: you describe the application you want in natural language and Yuan's AI Builder creates, modifies and hosts it for you. Applications built on Yuan ("Apps") can include AI agents, store data, and be published for other people to use or remix.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Plans, credits and payment
- The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Current plans and prices are listed on the pricing page.
- Usage of AI features is metered in credits. Credit allotments, daily quotas and model access differ by plan as described on the pricing page.
- Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Creem (creem.io). By purchasing a subscription you also agree to Creem's buyer terms. We never see or store your full card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account's billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.
4. Your content and your Apps
- You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service and of the Apps you create — their specification, data and files ("User Content").
- You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, display and transmit your User Content solely to operate, secure and improve the Service.
- If you publish an App, you authorize us to display it publicly (including its name, description and author name). If you additionally mark it as remixable, you authorize other users to remix it — copying its published structure into their own account as a starting point. Unpublishing stops new access, but remixes already made remain with their owners.
- You are responsible for the content of your Apps and for having the necessary rights to anything you upload.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service — or build, publish or operate Apps that are used — to:
- violate any law or regulation, or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- create, distribute or monetize sexually explicit or pornographic content, including AI-generated NSFW content or NSFW chatbots;
- create deepfakes or content that impersonates real people without their consent;
- generate or distribute malware, conduct phishing, or attack other systems;
- harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against others;
- provide regulated services without authorization (gambling, lending, banking, medical diagnosis, and similar);
- send spam or other unsolicited communications;
- circumvent usage limits, credit metering, or security measures of the Service;
- resell or provide third parties with raw access to the underlying AI models outside the Service.
We may remove content, unpublish Apps, or suspend accounts that violate this section, with notice where practicable.
6. AI-generated content
The Service uses large language models to build Apps and to power in-App agents. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it or distributing it. The Service does not provide professional (legal, medical, financial) advice.
7. Intellectual property
The Service itself — the platform software, the Builder, the component library, the design and the branding — is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or platform code outside the Service.
8. Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party providers, including cloud infrastructure (Cloudflare), AI model providers, payment processing (Creem), email delivery and analytics. Their availability affects the Service; how they process your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) survive.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue. Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the website or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
