This Privacy Policy explains what information the Yuan platform ("the Service", "we", "us") collects when you use it, how that information is used, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you register we collect your email address and, optionally, a display name and avatar. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
Content you create. App specifications, app data (collections and records), uploaded files, chat messages with the Builder and with in-App agents, and skills you create are stored so the Service can function.
Payment information. Paid subscriptions are processed by our merchant of record, Creem. We receive your subscription status and a customer reference. We never see or store your full card details.
Usage and device information. We collect product analytics (pages visited, features used) and error/diagnostic data to keep the Service reliable and to improve it. We use cookies for sign-in sessions and to remember preferences such as your language.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate and maintain the Service — hosting your Apps, running AI agents, storing your data.
- To process subscriptions and meter credit usage.
- To send transactional email (verification codes, password resets, billing notices).
- To monitor, debug and improve the Service.
- To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content for advertising.
3. AI processing
When you use the Builder or in-App AI agents, the relevant content — your prompts, the app's context, and data the agent needs — is sent to our AI model providers to generate responses. This data is used to provide the Service, not to train foundation models.
4. Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers required to run the Service:
- Cloudflare — hosting, storage and networking
- AI model providers — AI model inference
- Creem — payment processing (merchant of record)
- Resend — transactional email
- PostHog — product analytics
- Sentry — error monitoring
We may also disclose information where required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or asset sale — in which case this policy continues to apply to data collected before the change.
5. Public content
Apps you publish — including their name, description and, for Apps you make remixable, their full structure — are visible to other people. Your display name appears as the author of your published Apps. Do not put personal information you want to keep private into published Apps.
6. Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual Apps at any time, which deletes their data. To delete your account and associated personal data, contact us at the address below; we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or accounting reasons.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored with access controls on Cloudflare infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password and keep it confidential.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. International transfers
Our infrastructure runs on a globally distributed network (Cloudflare). By using the Service you understand that your data may be processed outside your country of residence.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the website or by email. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
