This Refund Policy explains how cancellation and refunds work for paid subscriptions on Yuan. You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals. Because a subscription gives you immediate access to a digital service, fees already charged are generally not refundable — but we always honor refunds required by law, and we will put right any billing error. Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Creem.
1. Cancellation
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from your account's billing page ("Manage in portal"). Cancelling stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- After cancelling, we do not provide a partial (pro-rated) refund for the unused remainder of the current period.
2. Refunds
Because a subscription gives you immediate access to a digital service, subscription fees — for both the initial purchase and renewals — are generally not refundable once the billing period has begun. This does not limit any rights you have under the consumer-protection laws that apply to you, which we always honor.
If you were charged in error, charged twice, charged after a valid cancellation, or charged without authorization, contact us and we will make it right with a refund. We may also offer a refund at our discretion in other cases.
To raise a billing issue, email support@yuanapp.ai from the email address on your Yuan account, including the date and amount of the charge. We respond within 2 business days. Any refund we approve is processed by Creem and typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days.
3. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Chargebacks freeze the subscription and take far longer to resolve than contacting us directly — we can almost always sort the issue out faster.
